The J-Safe Parapet Plate combined with the J-Safe Edge Protection System provides a continuous mesh screen from behind which all operations involved with upgrading the bridge parapet can be executed. The J-Safe Parapet Plate offers an anchoring range of 350mm through it’s slot which can accommodate single or multi anchors.

Sequence of work

• Slide the J-Safe Parapet Plate underneath the existing rail until the bottom stop has made contact with the vertical edge of the parapet.
• Anchor the plate into the concrete deck. From the inside of the existing rail install the J-Safe Posts & STD. Barriers into the J-Safe Parapet Plates.
• With the system installed the existing rails can be removed. The J-Safe System provides a continuous barrier which will prevent the potential accidental falls of operatives or materials over leading edges.
